Our project has developed a user-friendly webpage designed to guide users through detailed information about various plant species. The webpage provides essential details in the form of cards that includes plant's image, common name, scientific name, type, height, life span, oxygen level, and a comprehensive description. Additionally, users can access further information through a Google link and explore video perspectives via a YouTube link.
Our plant database includes a total of 454 flora within the college area, with 132 unique plant species identified. The data, which is 100% primary, is meticulously recorded and stored as text files in the Gist directory on GitHub. According to the collected data, the flora consists of 54.36% trees, 27.16% shrubs, 10.87% herbs, and 7.61% palms.
Our project benefits from the commitment of dedicated students, each with assigned roles to ensure efficient task completion. Under the guidance of our experienced mentor, who provides valuable support and direction, the team maintains effective communication and tackles challenges collaboratively.
Our aim is to provide detailed and accessible information about each plant of the college campus, highlighting key characteristics and benefits to enhance user knowledge and appreciation of the campus flora.
A team of dedicated experienced professionals.
